[Digital Sources]MUSICBOOK:10 DSD LINDEMANN>Musicbook Series DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS REVIEWS MUSICBOOK:10 DSD The musicbook:10 DSD is the basic model of the musicbook series. It is a USB digital-analog converter with outstanding sound properties which enables the reproduction of music from a computer in studio master quality. It can handle easily resolutions of up to 384 kHz PCM and DSD 256. But the musicbook:10 DSD can do a lot more. The integrated analog preamp, which also doubles as an excellent headphone amp, allows the connection of a phono preamp and thus offers a consummate audiophile quality also with vinyl records. In terms of technology the musicbook:10 DSD is definitely way ahead of the competition. Using a sophisticated recalculation all digital audio signals are converted into DSD 128/256, a data format which is highly esteemed by audiophiles worldwide. Thus the actual digital-analog conversion is reduced to a mere filtering of the DSD signal. This completely new approach is the secret behind the musicbook’s exceptionally good sound. Features USB-Audio Class 2 Bluetooth (aptX/AAC) Headphone Output Preamp DSD-Resampling Analog outputs Digital inputs Analog inputs THE MUSICBOOK SERIES With the smart musicbook series you’ll get everything from a single source: classic CD playback, USB audio and streaming via smartphone or tablet, analog preamps and matching power amps. To suit your requirements. And everything at its finest, of course. For the musicbooks are developed in Germany and manufactured throughout Europe. They are, so to speak, the essence of 25 years of experience in the development of hi-fi components at Lindemann. Many of these devices like the AMP4, the CD1, the first German-made SACD player D680 or the components of the 800 series today enjoy cult status with audiophile listeners. In the musicbooks we’re using the most advanced technologies and parts, which allow big high-end to be packed into a smart enclosure. CONCEPT Compact, smart, design-oriented, this is how the musicbook may appear at first glance. But behind the front there is genuine high-end in the best quality of workmanship. The musicbook is able to replace big hi-fi systems and still promises a better quality of sound. There is no contradiction here today: owing to cutting-edge parts and production methods, excellent technology can be realized within the smallest space. This is a real example of progress through technology. General Mains voltage: 90 – 250 V, 50 - 60 Hz Dimensions: 280 x 220 x 65 mm (W x D x H) Weight: 3.20 kg Power consumption: 0.2 W standby, 30 W max.
